Description
ReCharkha, a social enterprise based out of Pune, was founded by Amita Deshpande. It upcycles multi-layered plastic wrappers and bags by spinning them into yarn on a charkha. reCharkha upcycles waste plastic bags and wrappers using a traditional charkha and handloom to create beautiful products such as bags, mats, potlis, jholas, cutlery kits, and storage baskets.
